Fat Butcher is a whole animal butcher shop sourcing beef, pork, lamb, and chicken local to Western Pennsylvania. Our butcher counter is rounded out by our sandwich menu and retail items. We utilize whole animals by making bone broth, rendering tallow and lard, making sausages and other value added items. Our kitchen makes sandwiches (on bread made in house) which include cured and cooked cuts from the animals we butcher. We also make a wide variety of soups, sauces, pickles and dips.
The position offers a lot of creativity and the opportunity to work with a small team of skilled individuals. A love for food is a must.
There are opportunities to learn butchering, but this is a cook position first and foremost.
