We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Southcrest Heights Apartments in Brookline. https://www.southcrestheights.com/
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, and leasing. The job entails over seeing all buildings and ensuring that they are well-maintained and compliant with relevant regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen understanding of Fair Housing regulations, and the ability to foster positive relationships with residents and owners.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other legal requirements.
Oversee property maintenance activities, coordinating repairs and improvements as needed.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and
Develop marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones.
Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and lease agreements in a professional manner.
Collaborate with maintenance staff to address issues promptly and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of property activities, including leasing agreements and maintenance requests.
Experience
Proven experience in property management or a related field is essential.
Familiarity with Appfolio property management software is a major plus.
Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and Fair Housing regulations.
Background in administrative tasks related to real estate or legal environments is advantageous.
Excellent sales skills with the ability to effectively market properties to prospective tenants.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on customer service.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
