Responsibilities
Check with Parts Dispatcher to see what deliveries are needed and what pickups are needed for the day.
Secure invoices for parts needing delivered. Start pulling parts that need to be delivered and arrange in delivery order.
Load vehicle according to delivery order.
Secure list of parts pickup that is needed and arrange the route.
Check condition of the vehicle. Wash if necessary or go for fuel if necessary. Watch log book for mileage intervals.
Start out on route, delivering to customers and obtaining necessary signatures, payments or purchase orders while providing good customer service.
Pick up parts needed for internal repairs in the shop making sure invoices are included.
Return to the dealership with parts that were picked up for internal repairs and deliver to appropriate area.
Bring signed invoices to accounting with any questions/concerns from customers.
Check condition of the parts vehicle before securing for the evening.
