#1 Cochran has an immediate need for an experienced a wholesale Mechanical Parts Advisor at our Natrona Heights Wholesale Parts Hub. Responsibilities
Handle telephone parts orders called in by retail (mechanical) accounts
Promote additional parts sales by suggesting related items, seasonal lines, and/or parts specialists
Conduct regular telephone solicitation on assigned accounts
Inform customers when parts specially ordered for them are received
Determine correct parts numbers and “pick” parts for orders received
Arrange for delivery or shipment of parts as required
Prepare and cost out parts invoices
Help maintain parts stock in orderly condition
Assist with regular parts inventories and the selection of parts for return under parts obsolescence protection program
Assist in physical re-arrangement of layout
Attend group training sessions as required
Work from Home Qualifications
90-day onsite training in the warehouse
Maintain sales and phone call volume requirements
Weekly teams meetings with the Wholesale Parts Director
Qualifications
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Tech savvy and comfortable with computers
Experience in wholesale parts sales desired with a business following in Pittsburgh needed
Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several customers at a time
