Type:12+ month Contract (high possibility of CTH)

Location:Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Pay:$25/hr - $30/hr

Data Management & Quantitative Analysis I

Responsibilities

Provide securities pricing activities via third-party vendors for client portfolio valuation with minimal supervision.

Review and resolve moderately complex validation breaks in a deadline-driven environment using software such as Eagle, MS Excel, and MS Teams, ensuring compliance with established processes and procedures.

Compile, synthesize, and report on market data sources; support access, maintenance, and security activities. Manage moderately complex databases and data feeds, and assist with data sources. Conduct preliminary calculations for senior colleagues and help develop reports.

Interpret findings and prepare initial drafts of standard reports.

Work with internal and external datasets and client reference data, providing analysis for market development of securities data. Apply techniques such as querying to extract data for analysis.

Track vendor file delivery.

Resolve client inquiries regarding process fail points and draft responses to clients.

Utilize third-party vendors such as Bloomberg, ICE, and Reuters for research, validation, and break resolution.

Requirements

1-2+ years of total work experience preferred.

Bachelor's degree.

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

Proficiency in MS Teams and Outlook for communication.

Experience with web-based applications/programs.

Preferred experience in data management.

Preferred experience in financial services.

Preferred experience with portfolios/securities.

Preferred experience in data validation and day-over-day changes.
