THE POSITION

You will instruct inmates in food preparation, production, service, and baking. You will ensure proper control over inmates by enforcing custody and security regulations and inspecting all food service areas, equipment, and food for conformance with established safety and sanitation standards. Full-time employment (40-hour work week)
Work schedule to be determined by open shifts at the time of hire. Work schedule includes rotating days off.
This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please note, selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $44,753.00 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of experience in food preparation, production, or service of a variety of complete meal menus in an institutional food service operation, food catering service, restaurant, or in a similar large-scale food production operation; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
