DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1, you will provide administrative oversight for Cambria County BH/ID/EI and participate in the review, analysis, evaluation, monitoring, and coordination of intellectual disability and mental health programs throughout the county. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving annual review individual support plans (ISP) and critical revisions, as well as monitoring waiver and base funds as they relate to ISPs in Home Community Services Information System (HCSIS). This professional also oversees waiver capacity and informs the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) of all changes in enrollment status. We are looking for someone with strong leadership qualities, as you will be participating in management reviews with providers on a quarterly basis, in addition to providing staff development trainings and protocols. This position also involves participation in provider service contract negotiations with BH/ID/EI administrative staff and contracted provider agencies. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
