( https://www.jnjmedicaldevices.com/en-US/service/asc-capabilities ).Key Responsibilities:In this role, the Senior Manager, Strategic Capabilities (ASC) will be responsible leading development and execution of strategic initiatives that lead to a sustained competitive edge in the ASC channel across DPS platforms in a sustained and measurable manner to ensure DPS is the partner of choice for our ASC customers. This person will influence teams that work collaboratively to develop innovative commercial strategies and contract solutions for implementation by the ASC Sales Team and field sales organization across DPS platforms. They will serve as project manager for new and refreshed capabilities that innovate how we address customer needs quickly, navigating internal processes as well as customer facing programs. They will also consistently translate business intelligence into meaningful insights for internal partners and collaborate with key business partners to evaluate opportunities and build business cases for technologies and solutions that complement our core products.To Be Successful, The Candidate Will:

Identify, lead, develop, and deliver executable strategic plans to gain share or expand the market

Provide input and feedback on ASC platform plans to help strengthen the DPS position using ideas such as innovation deployment technology usage or innovative contracting

Develops process for identifying the best solutions to advance a differentiated ASC channel strategy and coordinates with appropriate global marketing, R&D, data science, and business development partners to launch

Strategic & tactical thinking to develop strong vision and strategy to drive business outcomes

Analyze and monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer need

Delivers results with indirect line management responsibility

Adapt to nuances within Orthopaedic businesses and business partners

Partner with multiple functional areas (i.e., Marketing, Sales, HEMA, GBI, Prof Ed, HCC, Legal, GSM, etc.) and influence decision making that impacts the ASC channel

Develop project plans and timelines using project management standards, methodology and tools

Handle complexity – needs of the platforms, as well as the ASC requirements and priorities, along with external customers, KOLs, and society requirements

Consistent track record of thinking creatively, crafting strategic solutions to sophisticated problems, and an eagerness to learn

Ethics, compliance, and CREDO behaviors

QualificationsEducation:

A minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required

A Master's degree or Advanced degree is preferred

Required Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 8 years progressive business experience in healthcare in sales, marketing, finance, project management roles or a related field

Substantial team project management experience

Proven ability to deliver strong business results

Experience balancing long term growth opportunities with short term wins

Financial acumen combined with ability to build compelling business cases and influence senior leadership and colleagues

Excellent cross-functional and management influencing skills and ability to develop customer relationships

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Open minded personality with ability to empower team for new tasks

Positive demeanor, resilience, and adaptable to change

Ability to effectively communicate and influence / persuade

Balance strategy development with solid execution

Ability to work in an operating room and cadaver/wet lab

Experience with or understanding of 3rd party insurers/reimbursement landscape and the impacts of the payor/payee system on small to large health systems and outpatient practices

Experience working with machine learning algorithms, data

This role is based from one of the following campuses in West Chester, PA; Raynham, MA; Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Warsaw, IN.

The ability to travel up to 35% is required
