The Sr. Manager F&A takes general direction from General Manager Johnson Controls Navy Systems (JCNS), and reports directly to the Director, Finance JCFS, supervises and directs all planning, forecasting, analysis and accounting required to support the York Navy Systems business.A Working as the financial and strategic business partner to the GM of the York Navy Systems business, coordinates/prepares written and graphical financial information to support clear, concise communication to the JCFS executive teams regarding the performance of the business.A Is a contributing member of the management team with an understanding of the key Business Unit processes, technologies and strategies. As a Sr. Manager Finance & Accounting, you will:

A

Proactively wors with the GM Navy Systems, and the functional team to improve actual financial results consistent with operating plan commitments and objectives.

Manage all aspects of the relevant general accounting functions for Navy Systems such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, fixed assets and cash management as well as the internal and external financial reporting requirements.

Provide guidance and interpretation related to GAAP, FAR and CAS. Develop and implement procedures to assure compliance with FAR cost regulations, CAS administration including Disclosure Statement amendments, and other proper controls related to FAR and CAS compliance.

Ensure all rate and pool calculations are performed on a timely basis and in accordance with CAS and FAR

Ensure annual incurred cost submittals are completed on time and accurately.

Primary interface with DCAA, Internal Audit, Corporate Accounting and independent external auditors to facilitate their reviews.

Continually perform business evaluations to identify future opportunities for improvement and barriers to achieving strategic and financial objectives.

Reviews monthly financial results and business metrics for Navy Systems. Identifies opportunities to drive actions that will improve overall financial performance.

Increases the financial awareness of non-financial employees through training on financial measurements and interrelationships, asset management techniques, planning, forecasting and control procedures.

Identifies best business practices and facilitates the propagation of these practices throughout the business unit.

Directs the financial/business planning and forecasting process for the business unit.A Reviews the plans and forecasts for alignment with business objectives, market opportunities and the ability to execute. Provides recommendations and direction to the GM Navy Systems.

Ensures compliance with established administrative processes and procedures through inspection and follow up.

Ensures compliance and timeliness with government required reporting.

Conducts other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:

Bacheloras degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.A Minimum of five years of broad financial experience in all aspects of business control.A Prior experience as a financial controller is highly desirable.A Ability to direct and coordinate financial results.A

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.A

Excellent analytical and int rpersonal skills with strong problem solving capabilities.A

Familiarity with IT systems as they relate to financial functions and operational areas.A Individual PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.A

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or CPA preferred.A Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and OneStream Software.
