Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in York, Pennsylvania. The role is focused on providing support in general accounting functions for a client within the manufacturing industry. The workplace is dynamic, requiring the ability to adapt to changes and manage a variety of tasks.Responsibilities: Assist with general ledger accounting and journal entries Take part in month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to maintain accurate financial records Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity Utilize skills in project-based accounting to streamline financial processes Leverage experience in G/L accounting to maintain and improve financial systems and proceduresRequirements Experience handling bank reconciliations Familiarity with general ledger operations Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries Experience in month end elose procedures Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or commensurate work experience) Three or more years of experience working in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or another industry with project-based work Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuiteRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
