HEAD CHEF/KITCHEN MANAGER 70-80k +Bonus
A South County, RI restaurant/pub is seeking a Head Chef/Kitchen Manger to oversee total BOH operations. This is a hands on position, with the chance to develop a new menu and assemble your our team. The scope of work is as follows:
Essential Duties:
Daily hands on management of kitchen operations and coordination of all kitchen activities
Daily monitoring of prep production and quality checks
Total control of inventory and purchasing/storage
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a kitchen manager, chef or lead line in a full-service establishment
A valid drivers licence and a strong work history
Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
Skills & Abilities:
Strong communication skills
Experience in cost controls
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
