Stoneacre Brasserie isLocated in Newport Rhode Island
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced kitchen leader to fill the position of Sous Chef. Salary is based on experience with room to grow within the company.
The position is full time, year round, offering a mix of day and night shifts.
2-4 years within scratch kitchens and farm to table dining a must. We offer a deep wine list and strong following of informed, well traveled regular guests. Experience with seasonal menu changes and classic culinary techniques required.
bi-lingual(Spanish) a bonus.
We are a 6 year old restaurant in the heart of Newport, Rhode Island- open year round.
Our focus is in using properly sourced food and beverages to enhance and better the guest experience. We are humble and hard working, we understand the foundations of hospitality.

Committed to the team environment
Experienced in leadership within a kitchen environment
Leading by example through teach not tell.
Experienced in full animal butchery- land and sea.
Positive attitude and the ability to follow through with daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
Experienced in product ordering and costing of dishes-Including inventory and cost control.
