And water filtration particularly in areas such as water filtration(softeners, neutralizers, reverse osmosis, uvlights, etc…), radon water mitigation systems, and the ability to diagnose system
Issues. This role involves working on-site properties affected by water issues and radon, ensuring that they are returned to the EPA levels. The Technician will utilize both hand and power tools to perform their duties effectively. Climbing and the use ladders daily.
Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of properties to determine the necessary work.
Execute water mitigation processes, including wiring and plumbing.
Perform mitigation tasks such as cleaning, and structural repairs.
Carry out radon mitigation procedures to ensure safe and effective removal of radon from affected areas.
Handle radon mitigation projects in compliance with safety regulations
Handle radon mitigation projects in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installations and mitigation processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality standards.
Requirements
Previous experience in the plumbing, water filtration, and radon industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Knowledge of Radon air mitigation, water mitigation systems, and crawlspace encapsulation.
Water filtration systems, servicing, and installation experience a plus
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, mitigation field.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods.
Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
