Job Description:This position will serve as the Facility Manager for both onsite and offsite construction project office locations. This position will be responsible to manage a team of direct and matrix support personnel, as well as subcontractor personnel & services.This role will be the primary interface for establishing administering contracts to support facility needs and manage the vendors and delivery of equipment and services as stipulated in those contracts. Responsibilities Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor spaces Maintaining equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements Organizing and plan building installments and refurbishments Ensuring performance of routine maintenance on facilities and requesting repairs as needed Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or project security professionals Running routine maintenance inspections Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as assigning and tracking maintenance work orders Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions Collaborating with project management on budgeting for facilities needs Overseeing of cleaning and maintenance tasks by subcontractors Planning and coordinating support for all support installations (telecommunications, HVAC, electricity, IT/Wi-Fi, copiers, etc.) and refurbishments Managing and coordinating office space occupancies, office and cubicle assignments, furniture and personnel relocations, etc. Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations Reviewing utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs Supervising facilities administrative staff Supervising subcontractors (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers, etc.) Controlling activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security, etc. Allocating office space according to needs Performing subcontractor oversight, review & validate invoices, receive & review daily reports, etc. Performing operational analysis and resource forecasting Overseeing & managing contractor and vendors providing support services Ensuring maintenance of consumable & parts stock levels Performing key management & lock control functions Providing project fleet (vehicle) administration Overseeing office supplies placement and stores management Administering to necessary and appropriate signage and postings Coordinating with/for visitors Other duties as assignedJob ID: 147050BRCity: AikenState: South CarolinaCountry: United StatesWe are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
