Supplier Performance Specialist

Are you a Supplier Specialist professional seeking growth? We have an exciting opportunity for you! Reporting to the manager of supplier performance, this role will work with the supply chain team (Suppliers, planning team, and commodity management) to achieve optimal supplier performance and resolve issues as quickly as possible.IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Analyze on-time performance, quality ratings, participation in DPI programs, and days on hand in the Supply Chain

Work with suppliers to resolve delivery issues

Assists in the coordination of new supplier set-up

Assists in the Supplier Transition process

Assists in the right sizing of MOQs and Lot Sizes

Work with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies

Place purchase orders for production parts

WHO YOU ARE: You work and present creative ways to support new products and solutions. You experiment with various existing technologies while applying new and emerging options to enhance organizational outcomes. You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions. You remain energized and effective when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty. Most importantly, you show tremendous initiative in tough situations and are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities.FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

College degree

2+ years of relevant experience in MRP (Material Requirement Planning), Supplier development, MPS (Master Production Schedule)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The ability to learn new skills and apply those skills to solve problems

The ability to manage time and stay focused on the most critical tasks

The ability to drive tasks/projects through to completion

Excellent Communication Skills, both oral and written

The ability to recognize the problem and attack the problem without direct guidance

Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

College degree plus 5 years of relevant experience

APICS/CPIM Certification
