Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounting Specialist for a well-established company in the upstate that is growning! As an Accounting Specialist, you will be involved in various accounting functions, handling accounts payable and receivable, working in multiple software systems and working closely with supply chain.Responsibilities: Assist with both accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices Utilize QuickBooks for efficient accounting functions Regularly use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Process and manage purchase orders to ensure smooth business operations Execute purchasing functions, maintaining the balance between cost-effectiveness and quality Assist with Inventory forecasting based on market trends and business needs Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all transactions Resolve any issues or discrepancies in accounts or purchase orders Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions for any irregularities or issuesPerks:-No weekends or over-time required -No travel required-Casual attire -Small office environment - great company culture-Ability to have exposure to a lot of different departments and processes that you don't always get from a large organization-Opportunity for growth Requirements Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) (1-5 years preferred) Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills Familiarity with QuickBooks (preferred) Experience in handling Purchasing functions Associates preferred Strong communication skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
