As our Lead, Growth, you are the strategic engine behind foodpanda Malaysia’s marketing performance. You will lead the analytics workstream that powers our growth—from forecasting and incentive planning to user acquisition and retention strategies. This role requires a "Full-Stack" Growth leader: someone who can build complex simulations for marketing KPIs and then step into the boardroom to influence regional strategy with those insights. Your mission is to ensure every marketing dollar is optimized to drive sustainable MAU and Order growth. Key Responsibilities1. Marketing Architecture & ForecastingGrowth Modeling: Act as the lead custodian of marketing-specific forecasting and simulations. You will build and manage models that predict and drive core marketing KPIs, including MAU, Order Volume, New Customer Acquisition, and Retention.Trajectory Simulation: Proactively simulate growth trajectories and identify the core marketing levers (vouchers, loyalty programs, incentive structures) required to meet or exceed the country’s marketing ambition.2. Budget Guardianship & FrameworksIncentive Management: Serve as the guardian of the marketing and campaign budget. You will ensure that investments are deployed efficiently across different verticals (Food, QC, and Subscription) to maximize order growth.Custodian of Frameworks: Ensure all campaign mechanics align with regional guardrails while aggressively pushing for local adaptations that serve the Malaysian consumer.Pricing Analytics: Monitor the impact of pricing experiments on core marketing metrics, steering local strategies to balance aggressive growth with sustainable unit economics.3. Strategic Campaigns & ExperimentationsHigh-Impact Activations: Lead the "Javelin" workstreams. Use data to identify high-potential vendor clusters and geographical hubs that will drive incremental orders.Data-First Experimentation: Move the organization away from intuition. You will take end-to-end accountability for experiments—from hypothesis to final strategic recommendation—ensuring all decisions are backed by hard data.4. Leadership & Executive PresenceTalent Grooming: Manage and grow a high-performing team. You will coach them to move beyond "report building" into strategic storytelling, grooming them to be future leaders who understand the "why" behind the data.Regional Advocacy: Act as the critical bridge between Regional HQ and Local teams. You must be able to simplify complex Malaysian market dynamics into strong, convincing narratives that secure the resources and support needed from Regional.
