As our #AAA team continues to grow, we're looking for a Psychosocial/Mental Health Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Newcastle, Hunter & Central Coast region, with the flexibility to work close to home.In this role, you'll empower and advocate for people living with psychosocial disability and mental health challenges. Using a recovery-oriented, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, you'll support participants to achieve their goals, build independence, and enhance their wellbeing. You will:Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic servicesAssess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessmentsInterpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participantProvide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goalsMaintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
