There is an exciting opportunity in OUTsurance’s Marketing department for a skilled and seasoned Traditional Media Planner. The person must be self-motivated with passion for marketing and the strategy behind it, and must be able to plan, strategize and compile in depth reporting, interpret data to identify analytical trends and to make recommendations upon findings. You will have the opportunity to improve on current placement strategies and processes.     Responsibilities:Manage the OOH, Print and TV Media portfolio (Product specific)Building relationships with our account executives and media owners. TV bookings on the Telmar bookings system.Evaluation of ATL media and sponsorship proposals. Daily in-depth analysis of marketing performance data. Be guided by the outcome of reports to give input and recommendation on the marketing expense and spot picking strategy of media sources to make sure that performance is optimal. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting in MS Excel, and written in report format in MS Word. Manage and take responsibility of allocated advertising budget.Work with Nielsen data in Excel format to build Share of Voice graphs and reports for the business. Compile competitor behaviour and competitor media spend reports. Ad-hoc analysis of media spend, spots, performance etc. on top of normal reporting as and when requested from the business. Assist in writing short, creative briefs for the creative team for TV, Outdoor and printCreate Flighting codes for Production – when needed.Daily lead tracking per media, per channel and give recommendations to optimize performance. Checking and signing of ATL invoices. Make recommendations on new advertising mediums to improve lead generation
