Description We are offering a part-time contract to permanent employment opportunity in the finance industry, based in Charleston, South Carolina. We are in search of a methodical and diligent Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will encompass dealing with customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer records and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts and initiating suitable actions when necessary. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure they are accurate Identify and address customer inquiries, providing satisfactory resolutions Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed Carry out account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy Handle billing and cash applications as part of the role Effectively manage cash collections and commercial collections Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for finance-related tasks Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Manage missing and outstanding invoices, ensuring they are resolved and accounted for.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. Must have experience with Accounts Receivable (AR). Familiarity with Billing procedures is essential. Should be adept at Cash Applications. Experience in Cash Collections is necessary. Commercial Collections skills are desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Ability to handle Invoice Discrepancies is crucial. Must be capable of resolving Invoice Issues. Experience in tracking Missing Invoices is required. Should be able to manage Outstanding Invoices effectively.
