Administrative Assistant

Description Robert half is currently partnering with a company in the commercial construction industry in search of an Administrative Assistant. We are seeking a dynamic and organized Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a client-facing role where you will be the first point of contact for inquiries, welcoming guests and customers, and providing essential company information. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity in the Charleston, SC area. Duties and Responsibilities:

Answering phone inquiries, directing calls, and providing courteous and efficient service to all callers.

Welcoming guests and customers with professionalism and hospitality.

Performing various administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the office.

Running office errands, including trips to the bank, post office, and other essential locations.

Scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel arrangements for team members.

Maintaining office supply inventory by regularly checking stock levels and placing orders as needed.

Ensuring that the office environment is always organized and presentable.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in the construction or related industry.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

A positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements - Excellent telephone etiquette and keyboard skills

Highly organized and self-motivated

Energetic, intelligent, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy

Solid understanding of Running Errands

navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience

Hands-on experience with Professional Phone Etiquette

Practical knowledge of ordering office supplies and equipment

Previous experience working with Maintain Records

Answering Inbound Calls experience highly preferred

Earlier work involving Assist Visitors

Communication Skills experience highly valued

Comprehension of Professional Demeanor

Background working with Direct Guests

Administrative Office experience preferred

Experience with Maintain Office Supplies

Good understanding of Maintain Files

Demonstrated knowledge of Office Calendar

Adeptness in Office Administration

Experience with Professional Manner

Strong familiarity with Basic Office Equipment

General familiarity with Office Functions

Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Customer service and office administrative skills

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
