Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Charleston, South Carolina. The Bookkeeper will be primarily stationed at the front desk, handling various financial tasks. This role is within the accounting industry and requires on-site presence. Responsibilities: Handle account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Manage accounts payable to prevent any discrepancies or issues. Oversee accounts receivable to secure timely and accurate payment from clients. Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy. Perform bookkeeping duties including posting transactions and updating financial records. Execute data entry tasks to keep financial information updated. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial reporting. Carry out month-end close procedures for accurate accounting and reporting. Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Utilize QuickBooks software for financial management and reporting.
