Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Cash Operations/Accounting Support role within our IT Software industry team, located in Charleston, South Carolina. This role aims to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, which involves auditing contracts, managing credit requests, and supporting multiple cross-functional teams.Responsibilities: Audit and review executed contracts for accuracy Manage and ensure the accurate integration of orders between various software systems Oversee the setup and approval of executed contracts in financial software, ensuring correct billing and revenue recognition Support sales and sales support departments by managing queues related to outgoing contracts Respond to incoming requests for information and research on operations and product record related inquiries Manage incoming credit request workflow, conducting audits and creating approved credit requests Support ad hoc projects, research requests, and new offer initiatives related to cash operations Assist in data migration research projects Use MS Excel for various tasks and use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technology and system issues Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cash Operations or Accounting Support within the IT Software industry Proficiency in Revenue Recognition processes and practices Mastery of MS Excel for data management and analysis Experience in billing operations, including invoice generation and payment tracking Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with different departments Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks Problem-solving skills to address challenges related to cash operations and accounting Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Knowledge of cash operations regulations and standards in the IT industry.
