Our family is seeking to hire a family assistant / Nanny to support our son who is 7 and our daughter who is 4. We are looking for an energetic, active, self-driven and kind person whose primary responsibility will be to have fun with the children after school! While the children are in school, there will be some light household tasks like managing children's laundry, returning packages, stocking the pantry and running errands. Our daughter loves art, pretend play, and all things girly. Our son is very active and loves to be outdoors, especially if it involves swimming. Our son is on the autism spectrum and is mostly non-speaking but is a strong communicator. Hours are flexible but around 11am to 6pm.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of childcare or relevant experience
- Ability to keep up with an active 4 and 7 year old
- Reliable transportation to get to/from work
- good references and clean background check
- special needs experience a big plus
