Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers in:

Constraint Management

Support all Executive Constraint Management Meetings

Director of Manufacturing (DOM) Constraint Management Reviews

POP Committee

Roll-out new versions to DOMs and Plant Personnel

Assist plants with developing & interpreting Executive Throughput Packages

Review plant Executive Throughput Packages during bi-weekly FAE Constraint Review

404 Throughput Status

Constraint #1 Action Matrix

Constraint #2 Action Matrix

Any Significant FAE Issues/Losses

Develop and maintain the Executive Throughput Package Pro Forma, including all Single Point Lessons and attachments

Maintain & update Productivity Operating Process / Constraint Management web based training for FAE.

Maintain Productivity Operating Process SharePoint website for Final Assembly documentation.

FIS/IIOT System

Maintain current FIS systems & lead conversion to IIOT monitoring

Evaluate program assumptions and provide IIOT cost estimates for new model program cost studies based on latest IIOT Specification and Lessons Learned.

New Process Control Board Requirements

Process Control Boards at end of Useful Life

New Tooling Assets

New Conveyor Assets

Rebalance Configurations (assets & PCBs)

Asset Revalidation

Provide IT with intitial estimate of drop counts, asset counts, & server counts

Develop initial SOW for IIOT Integrators & IIOT Launch Managers with a complete list of assets (tooling & conveyor) and Process Control Boards

Maintain and improve Global FIS/IIOT Specification

Provide FAE input and signoff of all IIOT specification revisions

Maintain and publish specifications for Final Assembly Process Control Boards

Review with Global Regional leads

Review and Incorporate Lessons Learned into Specification

Interface with IT on updates to IT IIOT Standards, including PCBs

Act as liaison with Controls group to coordinate all controls and IIOT updates

Coordinate and manage updates to IIOT extended properties for New Model Programs

Ensure IIOT is aligned with each plant's simulation model.

Global IIOT planning & costing support and coaching for other regions

Review and approve ACRs for IIOT Applications

Review and approve all IIOT pilots (reports, versions, etc.)

Lead quarterly IIOT reviews with N.A. Plant ME Managers and IIOT Administrators to share Specification changes, IIOT Strategies, and collect plant feedback

Contribute and support the L2, L3, & IIOT Strategy & Governance Meetings to provide assessment, needs, and wants for Final Assembly Engineering

Teach, coach, and develop training plans for all employees.

Support the PDC process including quarterly check-in’s are completed

Review "Lessons Learned" from New Model launches and implement Prevent Reoccurrence Actions into future programs

Support Program Cost Studies and work with cross functional teams within the organization to ensure proper Tooling is included and a plan for implementation

Lead development and implementation of predictive maintenance tools

Drive reliability and maintainability standards into all tooling designs

Develop Design and Build Scopes of Work associated with Tooling and Equipment along with Installation Scopes of Work.

Required Experience

B.S. degree required / Masters preferred

10 years+ experience in Manufacturing

Strong evidence of a commitment to technical growth through formal and continuing education

Six Sigma Greenbelt required, Black Belt preferred.

Leadership communication skills consistent with reporting out to Director and VP level leadership

Willingness to Travel for extended periods of time

General knowledge in RSLogix 5, 500, 5000; RSView and Factory Talk knowledge

Vision systems

Robots (Fanuc)

Competency in MTTR/MTBF and the FRED process

General knowledge in Controls Design, PLC/HMI and Robot programming

Automotive manufacturing experience

Knowledge of IT systems (AVS, EP, FIS, Networks)

Problem solving skills using statistics (6 Sigma Black Belt preferred)

Systems Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical) skills

IIOT/FIS reports (running and analyzing)
