Elliott House Inn is gearing up for a busy spring and summer.

Looking to fill a 4 day a week front desk position at The Elliott House Inn. The position would allow for most weekend off, but we are a limited front desk staff, so willingness to help cover time off requests is required.

We are a small 26 room hotel located downtown on Queen Street.

Your responsibilities include traditional front desk/guest service duties and also requires assistance with folding laundry and setting up and maintaining our nightly wine and cheese reception.

As a member of our Guest Services team we are looking for an individual who is reliable, punctual, ambitious, self-motivated, resourceful, has strong communication and problem solving skills, a willingness to learn and go above and beyond for our guests, along with someone who can work independently while also being an integral part of the entire Elliott House Inn team. Yes, those are a lot of traits, but we value well-rounded team members that we can count on. Lastly, an added bonus that is unheard of at almost any other hotel is that we do not require you to stand for an entire 8 hour shift. We have a chair at our front desk and you get to sit down!

While we would love someone with front desk experience, we would be completely happy if we found the best person without experience that encompasses our values and positive vibes that we can train from scratch as well! Note: Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
