A high-end bakery located in Downtown Charleston that is renowned for exceptional quality and artisan pastries is looking for a customer service associate with .
This individual will be the face of our bakery, delivering a high standard of service to our valued customers. While prior experience in a bakery or pastry shop is preferred, it is not required. We value individuals who bring excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a dedication to customer satisfaction. Shift will consist of a 9:00am-4:00pm on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Position Overview:
Assist with daily bakery operations, customer engagement, and shop responsibilities.
No prior baking experience required; training provided.
Must have a great attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to create a welcoming experience.
Customer Engagement & Service:
Provide a friendly, upbeat experience for every customer.
Assist customers with questions, orders, and recommendations.
Communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person.
Ensure every order is correct and delivered with care.
Bakery Support & Production Assistance:
Assist with basic baking, cake preparation, and finishing touches (training provided).
Help with ingredient prep, packaging, and daily readiness.
Maintain quality control standards.
Assist with inventory checks and restocking.
General Operations & Teamwork:
Keep the bakery clean, organized, and running smoothly.
Work efficiently and collaboratively with the team.
Be adaptable and pitch in where needed.
Be open to learning new skills.
