Mechanic Position:
Job Summary
Reputable local Tree Care Company in business in lowcountry for 30 years is looking for an experienced mechanic to join our team. Applicants should be able to complete routine maintenance that includes:
-Truck maintenance and repair
-Bucket truck and areal man-lift maintenance and repair
-Equipment maintenance and repair (loaders, brush chippers, stump grinders, tractors, track loaders, spray rigs)
-Small engine repair (chainsaws, trimmers, and blowers)
-Trailer repair (bearings, brakes, lights, dump trailers, etc)
-Diagnosis of issues, repair, and preventative maintenance.
-The ability to weld is a plus, and possessing a CDL is very beneficial.
-Equipment Operator Experience Beneficial.
Responsibilities and Duties
Must be able to read, write, pass a drug test, have a clean driving record, be reliable, complete average repairs, be able to diagnose issues, order parts proficiently, keep an inventory of parts, equipment and service schedule. Preventative maintenance and properly keeping up with equipment and truck needs is extremely important to us. Also, must be able to diagnose and repair electrical issues and complete routine services. This position will require some heavy lifting, getting on small ladders, under trucks, on top of trucks, and a good portion of the day working on your feet, not in a seated position.

-Monday-Friday, some weekend work available while trucks are down for routine servicing.
