Unified utility services is providing storm damage repair for AT&T IN Georgia and both North & South Carolinas. We are providing two person traffic flagger crews to support flagging traffic in and around their bucket truck work zones. We are looking for people with flagging experience and that has a late model pickup that's not a eye sore to pull the arrow board and transport the crew and their signs and cones. You will also be supporting the construction crew in what ever they need like handing them tools or materials from the truck etcWe are currently working 6 to 7 days a week 12 hr days so you must be able to be on your feet in all types of weather for long hours at a time. You must not have any substance abuse issues or personal problems that will prevent you from showing up to your assigned work area every day at 7am and have the ability to work till 7 or 8pm daily. You must have good verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions so you can carry out what ever directions the site foreman gives you. Not showing up or being on your phone while in the active work zone will not be tolerated and will result in your release from this project. this is a opportunity to make above average money. For the owner of the pickup truck and the second flagger that you provide. This is a contract labor position and it will pay 60.00 hour for the first 8 hours in the day then 80.00 a hour after 8 hours in the day and 30.00 each food allowance. We provide the lodging when out of town so would be one double room for the two of you. We provide the cones, utility signs, arrow traffic board and stop/slow paddles. you provide the pickup and a set of walkie talkies, hardhat and safety vest for you and your flag partner to communicate with. Crews currently working are making 5000.00 to 6000.00 per week. Work week goes Monday thru Sunday, turn your time in Monday morning for the previous week and get paid direct deposit the following Monday.
