Material HandlerAutomation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-workingMaterial Handlerfor at-shirtcompany basedon Clements Ferry in Charleston, SC.Inthisrole,you’ll play a key part in the supply chain process, ensuringthe efficientmovement, organization, and handling of inventory through the distribution center.
Pay Rate$17.00 to $18.00per hour
Schedule and Hours1stshift: 6:00 am until 2:00 pm, 6:30 am until 2:30 pm
2ndshift: 2:30 pm until 10:30 pm
3rdshift: 10:30 pm until 6:30 am
Material HandlerDuties and ResponsibilitiesFold, tag, attach size strips, apply hangers, and repackage merchandiseScan, label, restock, and build boxes for shipment.Build pallets and unload cases from conveyorsRepackage cases and scan items for accurate tracking.
Place repackaged cases onto the conveyor system.
Material HandlerQualificationsandRequirementsAbility to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended period.Comfortable lifting 50lbsregularlyAbility to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.Prior warehouse or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
Must be reliable and punctual.
