BAI Bayview Aviation, LLC (Bayview Aviation) is a 20+ year old company that supplies commercial aircraft parts to airlines, repair shop, MRO’s and other companies throughout the world. Located in Mount Pleasant we are looking for those inspired individual(s) to join our team. We deal in virtually every component you would come into contact with as a mechanic on a commercial aircraft. We purchase complete regional aircraft for teardown so there are opportunities to go on-site to see that work being done.
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting in the shipping and receiving of parts and supplies to / from airlines, FAA repair shops, MRO’s, and OEM’s with locations both domestically and internationally. On the job training will be provided for all required duties.
Hours are flexible; open 9-5. We would like 25-35 hours per week, and we can work around school schedules.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Pack aircraft parts for domestic or international shipment in accordance with company policy or applicable regulations.
Prepare export or import documentation in accordance with company policy or applicable regulations.
Maintain a high level of organization, and be able recognize and prioritize any critical tasks with constantly changing demands.
Prepare/handle hazmat shipments in accordance with all applicable regulations
Maintain/monitor current stock of shipping supplies.
Assist with local supply chain duties, which may include but is not limited to, receiving parts, shipping parts, inventory control, and warehouse organization.
Required Education and Experience:
Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong communication skills
Ability to make logical decisions
Ability to work productively alone or with little supervision
Ability to follow detailed instructions or SOPs
Physical Requirements:
Employee is required to be able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
Employee will be standing, sitting and walking through their shift.
