Full-Time Estate & Grounds Manager – Private Residence (Wasmalaw)
We are seeking a responsible, hands-on individual to manage a large private residence and approximately 15 acres of land. This role requires a self-starter with strong skills in property care, grounds maintenance, and light residential repairs.
Responsibilities include:
Lawn care, landscaping, and seasonal upkeep of gardens and grounds
Operation and basic maintenance of small tractors, mowers, and power tools
Routine residential maintenance and minor repairs (basic plumbing, painting, etc.)
Receiving packages and managing deliveries
Coordinating with outside contractors as needed
Ensuring the property is well-maintained, safe, and organized year-round
Requirements:
Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or estate maintenance
Ability to operate small machinery and perform physical tasks outdoors
Dependable, trustworthy, and capable of working independently
Basic handyman skills
Strong communication skills
