Job description:
Smithworks is a creative, design and fabrication shop specializing in interactive, experiential environments such as escape games and museum exhibits.
We are seeking a talented carpenter to join our fabrication team.
90% of all the work is in our large production shop with very occasional onsite and travel work.
The right candidate will possess the following experience, skills and traits:
Cabinet and/or furniture carpentry
Experience working with typical woodworking and shop equipment
Finishing and trim work
Understanding and following design plans accurately
Dependable
Be excellent at working with a team as well as independently
Have a great attitude and work ethic
Strives for excellence
