Quality International Cartage a Intermodal Trucking Company is seeking an experienced and qualified Intermodal Dispatcher for their Charleston Terminal Operation. Duties include, but are not limited to, daily dispatching and planning, Owner/Operator retention, inside sales, customer service, and administrative duties.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Minimum of 1-3 years intermodal dispatch experience
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to multitask and have an energetic, competitive and career oriented mindset
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Dispatch of orders and moves , rail knowledge and ability to work with other terminals.
Interacting with the customers on a daily basis, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Accountable for on time service
