Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is currently seeking a CAD Specialist IV to support our water civil infrastructure team in Columbia, SC. The individual must have good mechanical design acumen and the ability to work with remote design teams.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Works under general direction of a lead engineer

Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of a project manager.

Performs advanced applications, scale and edit assignments involving the use of computer aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g. CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines

Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation

Decisions made with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines

Responsible for setting own project deadlines

Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments

May lead less experienced drafters=

·QualificationsMinimum Requirements

BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work

Preferred Requirements

10 years of related experience

Experience working on water, wastewater conveyance and treatment plant projects

Process mechanical drafting experience is highly preferred

General Knowledge of other disciplines

Revit experience a plus

Ability to coordinate and work on multi-discipline design projects

Offered rate of compensation (SC locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location The salary range for this position typically is $85,000-110,000
