Description We are looking for a Call Center Specialist to join our team based in Columbia, South Carolina. This role will be focused on providing excellent customer service within a call center environment in the non-profit industry. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to callers, assisting them with their inquiries and needs. Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve customer issues and provide solutions. Work within our internal system, Thrive Hub, to assist people in applying for benefits. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. Answer multi-line phone system professionally and efficiently. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed. Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to the business casual dress code. Adhere to the office working hours, demonstrating punctuality and time management skills. Requirements Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus! Proficiency in Call Center Customer Service is essential Excellent Customer Service skills required Must be skilled in Answering Multi-Line Phone System Experience in a non-profit environment would be advantageous Must be able to handle high volume of calls in a timely manner Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Must have strong problem-solving abilities Flexibility to work in shifts if required Prior experience in a similar role would be beneficial.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
