Job Title : Corporate Recruiter II
Location : Columbia, SC
Duration : 6 Months

Description: Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists with developing and administering the corporate strategy and related initiatives for identifying and recruiting potential hires from diversified candidate pools, including, but not limited to, interpreting qualifications for positions; determining sources for potential applicants; developing and posting employment ads; soliciting and evaluating viable candidates for employment through the Internet, recruiting agencies, advertisements (print and Internet), and referral programs; and participating in career fairs and in minority and outreach recruiting programs, etc.
  • Maintains an active, diversified, qualified, and work-ready candidate pool to meet the company’s high-volume core business staffing needs; coordinates all staffing requirements, to include conducting in-depth telephone or on-site interviews of qualified candidates and referring “best match” selection recommendations to management for feedback
  • Maintains an effective working relationship with professional recruiting agencies, while assisting with the coordination and fulfillment of the company’s temporary staffing needs and the administration of related vendor contracts
  • Participates on division/department quality projects and makes recommendations to improve workflow practices, policies, and procedures, and to enhance internal/external customer service and business relationships
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for management including, but not limited to, preparing employment statistical data for

    EEO reporting, recruiting, and hiring statistical and financial reports that show the department’s accomplishments, productivity levels, operating costs, staffing levels, and related variances, etc.
  • Performs other duties as required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field and two to four years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum three years of work experience in the recruiting field Job Knowledge & Skills
  • A broad understanding of the principles, practices, and concepts of federal and state laws and regulations and

    EEOC guidelines regarding employment issues such as recruiting, testing, interviewing, selecting, hiring, statistical reporting, etc.
  • A basic understanding of other functional areas within human resources (employee benefits, employee relations, and compensation) and related concepts, and an understanding of federal and state laws and regulations, such as

    FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ADA
