Description We are offering an opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role is central to our financial operations, handling all aspects of our bookkeeping, including maintaining accounts, preparing financial statements, and conducting monthly and year-end closes. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity, ideal for individuals proficient in accounting software systems and services.Responsibilities: Oversee the complete bookkeeping process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Carry out monthly and year-end closes diligently and in a timely manner Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring prompt and accurate processing Prepare comprehensive financial statements for management review Conduct thorough reconciliations to ensure all financial data aligns Manage the general ledger, recording all transactions and making necessary adjustments Utilize accounting software systems like Great Plains and Microsoft Excel to handle accounting functions Perform cash flow analysis and prepare annual budgets Attend to other tasks as required, providing comprehensive financial support to the teamIf interested, please send resume on a word document. Familiarity with Computerized Accounting Systems is needed. Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Understanding of Accounting Functions is required. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is vital. Ability to handle and manage the Annual Budget is crucial. Skills in Cash Flow Analysis are necessary.
