EquipmentShare is Hiring a Intern: Technical Writer EquipmentShare is searching for a student intern to join the Learning and Development team at our Home Office in Columbia, MO for the summer of 2025.ResponsibilitiesWe offer a flexible internship that will allow you to learn our business from the ground up while working on a series of team and independent projects.

Working within the Learning and Development team to help develop high-quality training resources to instruct and benefit co-workers in roles throughout the organization.

Collaborating with internal subject matter experts to create, edit, and manage versioning of effective and accurate instructional content.

Creating, writing, researching, organizing, and formatting training documentation for in-house instruction hub EquipmentShare University.

Uploading instructional content to the company intranet, ES-Ops.

Assisting the team in maintaining its digital asset management system.

Working with instructional designers to create visuals, diagrams, charts, and other illustrations to enhance training materials.

Meeting, shadowing, and assisting content creators across EquipmentShare departments.

Establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with internal departments across the organization.

Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a career in English, technical writing, journalism, communications, or related field.

Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Experience writing and revising documentation.

Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with using Microsoft Office products (Word) and G-Suite (Google Docs).

A professional yet enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.

A set of core values that includes integrity, drive, humility, and intelligence.

Ability to flexibly and constructively adapt to change.
