As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions for our clients. As a Junior Solution Architect at Sealing Technologies, you will report to the Technical Director of Sales and Business Development. In this role, you will provide valuable technical support to Solution Architect(s) and Technical Account Manager(s), helping design and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions. Collaborate with Solution Architect(s) in designing and architecting cybersecurity solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices.
Assist in analyzing client cybersecurity requirements and capability gaps to recommend appropriate security solutions.
Contribute to the creation of comprehensive solution documentation, including architectural diagrams and technical specifications.
Communicate with R&D and stay up to date on the latest products and/or services offered by the company.
Technical Expertise
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to provide informed insights.
Support Solution Architect(s) through researching and identifying cybersecurity products and/or services that align to customer objectives.
Support Solution Architect(s) through researching and understanding applicable industry best practices, government regulations, and guidelines.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
Client Engagement
Engage with clients to gather requirements, understand their cybersecurity challenges, and present tailored solutions.
Collaborate with the account team to support client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the effectiveness of our cybersecurity solutions.
Provide technical expertise during pre-sales and post-sales activities, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Solution Implementation
Assist in the implementation of cybersecurity solutions, working closely with technical teams and clients to ensure successful deployment.
Provide guidance on configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of security solutions.
Conduct solution testing and validation to ensure compliance with security standards.
Training and Knowledge Sharing
Support the development of training materials and knowledge sharing sessions for clients and internal teams.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the organization's collective cybersecurity knowledge.
Communicate new requirements, solution improvements, and/or recommended customer feedback to R&D and work with R&D to develop and implement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, with exposure to solution design and architecture.
Strong knowledge of the server market, server subcomponents, networking devices, cybersecurity technologies, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus solutions, and encryption.
Familiarity with network security monitoring tools and use cases.
Familiarity with L2 & L3 Networking and the configuration of basic networks.
Strong knowledge of the hardware assembly and troubleshooting of computer systems and servers.
Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX Operating Systems and the command line (CLI).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, notably Microsoft Excel.
US Citizen
A passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to staying current with industry developments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, and/or CompTIA Network+ is a plus.
Salary Range: $41K-$104K plus a commission planThe anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
