Our Project Managers work directly with the client and stakeholders to ensure project and program objectives are met.  Additionally, they will maintain and deliver high quality projects on time and within budgets while establishing and maintaining excellent client relations. The major responsibilities of this role include:Project/Practice ManagementCreates and executes project work plans, project executions plans, risk mitigation plans, etc.Identifies staffing needs and assigns individual responsibilitiesManages the day-to-day operational aspects of a project, including the budget, base scope and additional servicesReviews deliverables prepared by the teamPrepares for internal monthly project reviews and quality assurance proceduresAssumes responsibility (in partnership with the Market Leader and Project Approver) for financial, technical and design excellence, overall quality and client satisfactionEnsures project documents, including legal documents, contracts, and task orders are reviewed, approved, signed and filed per the AECOM project management frameworkProject AccountingUpdates the project EAC monthly and monitors WIP, AR, SCM, DLM, EBITA, GM, NSR.Tracks and reports hours and expensesManages project budget and expensesDetermines appropriate revenue/margin recognitions, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, monitors project receivables, and is responsible for collection of ARAnalyzes projects profitability, revenue, margin, bill rates and utilizationCommunicationsFacilities team and client meetingsEffectively communicates relevant project information to the client, team, and internal leadershipDelivers engaging, informative, and well organized presentationsResolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashionTeamworkConsistently acknowledges, appreciates, and motivates both individual staff and project teamEffectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potentialKeeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team membersTechnical UnderstandingUtilizes their general understanding in the areas relevant for the projects managedRegularly seeks continuing education opportunitiesClient ManagementManages day-to-day client interaction and expectationsDevelops lasting relationships with clientsCommunicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutionsContinually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfactionLeadershipChallenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role modelIdentifies opportunities  for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for changesManages change processes effectivelyRemains engaged and knowledgeable regarding industry practicesBusiness DevelopmentIdentifies business development and additional service opportunities for all disciplines as they relate to a specific project, program or clientEngages in proposal efforts, working as the internal or external capture manager, including completing project scoping and pricing
