REGIONAL SALES MANAGERReports To: Head of Marketing and SalesDepartment: SalesPay Status: ExemptPosition Type: RemoteJob Desc r iptionThe Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales of all products of Principe to customers remote in the Northeast Region of the USA. This position is accountable to evaluate and determine viable customer opportunities, prepare and execute product programs, manage customer relationships and achieve sales objectives.Essential Functions and Responsibilities Sales to and management of Regional Retail Accounts Sales to and management of Regional Distributors Sales to and management of Key Distributor Develop and execute strategic customer acquisition plans Manages the complete product line within the assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenue Develop, maintain, and leverage network of key industry players Assist in pricing and positioning of Principe ’s products to increase market share Develop and propose to management specific target customer promotional and trade spending plans Develop and maintain accurate customer sales forecasts figures Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Using SAP. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and making recommendations to management. Improve Net Sales Perform other duties as assignedQualification & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degreeExperience Required:Minimum 10 years of sales and food industry experienceKnowledge of food industrySome existing relationship in the food industryKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact, motivate and engage effectively.Excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills within a fast-paced organization.Self-motivated and work well both independently and as a team.Valid driver licenseLanguage, Computer & Numeracy:Proficient personal computer skills (MS office applications – Word, Office, Excel)Working knowledge of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to read and write in the English languageAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, unit of measure conversionsTravel RequirementsUp to 60% travel per yearRegularly involves talking or listening, sitting, and the use of hands and fingers.Regularly involves going up and down stairs.Frequently involves reaching with hands and arms, standing and walking.Frequently involves standing and walking.EOE/Vets/Disability1770 Promontory Circle Greeley, CO 80634 970-506-8000 jbsfoodsgroup.com
