Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThe Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer is responsible for overall management of the global Procurement Department for a Fortune 200 company with $14+ billion in revenue, which includes oversight of day-to-day operations, special projects, and long-term strategy.The SVP will lead development of the domestic and global procurement strategy, optimize the company’s procurement spend based on ‘end to end’ supply chain management, partner with C-Suite leaders to assess required product and service specifications, provide oversight of supplier negotiations and service issues, and work with end-user buyers to ensure that contracts are being leveraged properly.This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.The Main Responsibilities
Collaborate and partner with business leaders to influence efficient supply chain strategy and optimize procurable spend
Build and foster strategic vendor partnerships to identify opportunities for greater efficiencies and cost savings, while continuously assessing future state business needs.
Ensure proper implementation of modern technology systems, AI tools, and talent strategy to support a best-in-class future state organization.
Establish standard operating processes, policies, controls, governance, and data management to optimize procurement capabilities.
Oversee supplier negotiations, service issues, and vendor and customer performance.
Oversee the establishment of pricing and terms for vendors while working with the Finance and Legal teams.
Oversee the reconciliation and review of vendor and customer performance.
Identify and execute opportunities for process improvements and transformation efforts within the organization.
Create a positive environment whereby employees are challenged, motivated, and mentored for advancement.
What We Look For in a Candidate 15+ years of senior management logistics experience, with technology and/or telecom industry experience a plus. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, lead multi-discipline teams, and influence key stakeholders.Education
