FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – STEADY WORK (Mon–Fri)
Family Owed Property Management Company is hiring a long term full-time Maintenance Supervisor / Lead Handyman to handle repairs, turns, and property upkeep for our long term residential rentals. We own and manage Class C single-family and small multifamily properties and need someone reliable who can work independently and take pride in doing quality work. We value our residents and strive to provide the best service of our ability. In turn our team is what makes everything run smoothly, so we this role is a critical component to our operations.
This is a hands-on position with steady hours, consistent pay, and long-term stability.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Complete daily work orders (plumbing, electrical basics, drywall, carpentry, appliances, etc.)
- Handle urgent issues like leaks, clogs, power outages, and HVAC basics
- Oversee unit turnovers and get homes rent-ready
- Prepare for Section 8/Housing Authority inspections & complete punchlists
- Coordinate vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electricians)
- Communicate professionally with tenants
- Keep accurate notes + before/after photos
- Monitor general property conditions
- Report major issues to management
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong handyman/maintenance skills (80% of the job)
- Experience with residential rentals (preferred)
- Ability to work in Class C neighborhoods
- Reliable transportation (truck/van preferred)
- Good communication skills
- Can work independently and get jobs done without babysitting
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos/texts
- Someone dependable who wants steady, long-term work
REQUIRED SKILLS
(You don’t need all, but the more the better)
- Plumbing repairs (toilets, leaks, disposals, faucets)
- Electrical basics (switches, outlets, lights, breakers)
- Drywall patching + painting
- Carpentry (doors, locks, trim)
- Flooring (vinyl plank preferred)
- Light Appliance troubleshooting
- Unit turns / rent-ready work
- Section 8 punchlists (a plus)
- Basic landscaping
- Small remodel experience (a plus)
SCHEDULE & PAY
- Full-time Monday–Friday
- Occasional emergency calls (paid extra for these)
- Bi Weekly pay
- Salary: $45,000–$65,000/year depending on experience
- Gas/vehicle allowance
- Paid time off
