We are hiring for a Labor and Employment Paralegal. The candidate will be responsible for administrative case management and support of the Labor and Employment Practice Group.Essential Job Functions:Formatting briefs, pleadings and other legal documentsFiling legal documents (e-filling skills are preferred)Corresponding with clientsDraft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the courtPerform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc.)Maintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendicesGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesProvide assistance with case settlementsPrepare exhibits to motionsNecessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work successfully with multiple team members, interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.Competent to handle a variety of activities with attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow through and follow up, and adapt to quickly meet changing deadlines and priorities.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on short deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.Retain a high level of flexibility and resourceful problem solving.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.Please submit your resume to jsilva @ adams martin group . comAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard torace, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
