Position Summary:
We’re hiring a skilled Maintenance & Systems Technician with 3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial equipment and electrical systems. In this role, you’ll support the reliability and performance of our production machinery and facility infrastructure through preventative maintenance, electrical installations, and root cause troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics and repairs on automated production and metalworking machinery
Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment specs to execute safe, code-compliant installations
Install and maintain electrical circuits at 120V, 230V, and 480V (single and three-phase)
Bend, route, and install conduit, pull wire, mount junction boxes and breaker panels
Maintain and troubleshoot lighting systems, control panels, and switchgear
Update and reference single-line electrical diagrams; trace and label circuits
Support preventive maintenance routines and participate in equipment upgrades
Use digital tools or CMMS to manage work orders, parts tracking, and maintenance records
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and safety teams to meet daily reliability goals
Follow 5S and safety procedures to ensure a clean and organized work environment
Minimum Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting
Solid working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, safety codes, and best practices
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Strong troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitude
Experience with CMMS platforms or basic computer skills for tracking work
Preferred:
Associate degree or trade school certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or similar
Familiarity with PLC systems, VFDs, and automated machinery
South Carolina Master Electrician License (or willingness to pursue) is a plus
