Job Title: Bathtub & Surface Refinishing Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bathtub & Surface Refinishing Specialist for a residential renovation project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in refurbishing, reglazing, and resurfacing bathtubs, sinks, and other surfaces to restore them to like-new condition. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of refinishing materials, and the ability to deliver high-quality work efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Prepare bathtubs, sinks, and other surfaces for refinishing by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks or chips.
Apply coatings, primers, and refinishing products to achieve a durable, professional finish.
Use spray equipment, rollers, or brushes to apply refinishing materials.
Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are followed while using refinishing chemicals.
Inspect and quality-check completed work to meet project standards.
Clean up the work area and ensure surfaces are properly cured before use.
Maintain equipment and materials to ensure efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bathtub refinishing, resurfacing, or reglazing.
Knowledge of refinishing materials, including epoxy, urethane, and acrylic coatings.
Ability to properly prep, mask, and finish surfaces for a long-lasting result.
Experience working with fiberglass, porcelain, and cast iron tubs is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve a smooth, flawless finish.
Must have own tools and equipment preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of industry best practices for surface refinishing.
Ability to color-match and blend coatings for seamless repairs.
Experience in minor plumbing or repair work is a bonus.
