Knowledge and solid understanding of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs), variable frequency drives, motors, encoders, electromechanical systems, and electronic sensors of all types.
● Work closely with mechanical maintenance personnel during breakdowns and improvement projects.
● Ability to read and use schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, etc.
● Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills.
● Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
● Maintain and create procedures and documentation.
● Develop and maintain a knowledge of the processes and materials utilized in the manufacture of products in the cable industry.
● Develop and maintain a level of professionalism in verbal and written communication with internal and external customers/suppliers.
● Perform other duties as designated by the direct supervisor and engineering management.
