Maintenance Supervisor 64 unit apartment complex:
PREREQUISITE:
1. Transportation-Must have your own transportation, this does not include anyone dropping you off, you must have the ability to drive yourself to and from work.
2. Tools-You must have your own tools or the ability to purchase them in a reasonable amount of time upon employment.
3. Drug free and able to pass a drug test.
4. If you do not meet 1-3, please do not read any further or contact us about the opportunity.
PAY: Commensurate with the skill and experience level, but in the range of $1,000 +/- weekly.
Apartment complex is in Northeast Columbia, we are looking for a maintenance supervisor who has a deep background of knowledge with repairs and remodeling. General knowledge and ability to do:
1. Trim-Ability to do light trim work, casing, baseboard, minor repairs
2. Install and adjust door and cabinet hardware
3. Adjust doors, sliding doors, cabinet doors, etc
4. Plumbing-Familiarity of plumbing, toilets, sinks, faucets, water lines, leaks, etc
5. Electrical-Ability to install light fixtures, outlets, switches, appliances, etc
6. Paint/Finishing-Ability to do caulking, painting, light drywall work, etc
7. Flooring-Knowledge and ability with Tile, LVP, etc
8. Framing-Knowledge and ability to do light framing, install doors, make repairs, etc
9. General all around construction knowledge
We are NOT looking for someone who is looking to do a singular job, we are looking for a full time or possibly part time person to work 20-50 hours a week.
The person we are looking for would have these basic skills:
1. Punctual.
2. Dependable.
3. Honest.
4. Ability to communicate clearly.
5. Must have transportation.
6. Must know how to follow directions.
7. Must catch on quickly.
8. Must be willing to learn new things.
9. Must be hard working.
10. Must be willing to get their hands dirty.
11. Must be a team player and pitch in wherever needed.
12. Ability to lift normal construction materials.
13. Mastery of measurements with a tape measure.
14. Ability to go on a ladder to reasonable heights.
15. Ability to learn construction skills you may not have.
