Summary:
The Fleet Manager is responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the company's fleet of vehicles. This includes ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition, properly maintained, and meet all safety regulations. The Fleet Manager will also develop and implement policies and procedures for the management of the fleet, and oversee the work of the fleet technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the management of the fleet
- Oversee the work of the fleet technicians
- Reviewing issues to create Work Orders for work distribution
- Diagnosis and assessment of failures to derive a systematic approach to a solution
- Manage the fleet budget
- The ability to be a Team Leader with excellent Project Management skills
- Ensure that all vehicles are in good working condition
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained
- Ensure that all vehicles meet all safety regulations
- Track and manage fuel consumption
- Manage the acquisition and disposal of vehicles
- Equipment Upfitting
- Stay up-to-date on the latest fleet management trends and technologies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management
Attention to detail
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
In-depth knowledge of low-voltage DC systems
Familiarity with fleet management software
Familiarity with the Toyota Way
Applicable experience as a Service writer
